All of us here at Top Flight Badminton Club want to congratulate Dave Waggoner, who has been chosen as the ‘E. Lee Todd Memorial Senior Athlete of the Year’ for the 2014 Cornhusker State Games!!!

He will receive this award at the Annual CSG/NSC Sports Banquet in Lincoln in October. (Date and Time TBD)

This makes the fourth time that a badminton player has been chosen for a Cornhusker State Games Outstanding Athlete Award. Previous badminton winners were Ray Scott (1994 Male Athlete of the Year), Herman Batelaam (2004 Male Athlete of the Year), and Carolyn Foster (2007 Senior Athlete of the Year).

Also nominated for a 2014 Cornhusker State Games Outstanding Athlete Awards were Wei Ming Lim for Male Athlete, Manjiri Joshi for Female Athlete, and Saugat Shrestha for Youth Athlete.
